How Drawing AI Credits Work: Image & Video Costs

Learn how drawing AI credits work. Calculate image and video use from one balance, see why credits never expire and distinguish credit reversals from refunds.

How Drawing AI Credits Work: Image & Video Costs

Drawing AI credits are a shared balance used to pay for each requested image or animation. Subtract the displayed charge each time you generate; you can spend the balance on images, videos or a mix. Credits purchased under current plans do not expire. Review the studio’s current charge before submitting a generation.

How do I calculate image and video use?

One 1K image costs 5 credits. Videos default to eight seconds for 25 credits; choose any whole-second duration from 1–15 seconds. The video charge is ceil(seconds × 25 ÷ 8): multiply by 25, divide by 8, then round up to a whole credit. Both image models use the same image charge.

| Creation | Credit use | | --------------------------------------- | ---------: | | One image | 5 | | One six-second video | 19 | | One eight-second video | 25 | | One ten-second video | 32 | | One fifteen-second video | 47 | | One image plus one eight-second video | 30 | | Five images plus one eight-second video | 50 |

The calculation is images × 5 + the rounded charge of each video. A 70-credit balance leaves 20 credits after five images and one eight-second video. A pack's image-only and video-only counts are alternative uses of the same balance; pricing-page video counts use the default eight seconds. Selecting another length changes how many videos the balance can cover.

What happens to unused credits?

Credits purchased under current plans do not expire. Monthly subscriptions add their allocation each paid month. Yearly subscriptions charge the annual total and issue the annual allocation upfront. Canceling renewal stops future charges and grants; it does not erase unused purchased credits.

One-time packs do not renew. Compare plans and credit packs when deciding whether occasional purchases or a subscription suit your family. This guide explains the balance; the pricing page is the source for current offers.

Is a credit reversal the same as a payment refund?

No. A technical generation failure returns reserved service credits to the balance through the task flow. It does not automatically return money to the payment card. Refreshing a task’s status does not start another paid generation.

A completed result you want to change is different from a technical failure: requesting a new variation uses new credits. For a task or payment problem, contact support with the relevant task or order number.
